Urdu Academy pays tribute to Peerzada Qasim Part One

The Urdu Academy of North America dedicated its literary event of December 15, 2013 to the life and work of great contemporary poet, Pirzada Qasim. Dr. Ghazala Ansari was the MC of the event held at the Chandni Restaurant, Newardk/Fremont CA. Picture shows Urdu lovers reciting Pirzada Qasim's poetry: Ishaq Nagpurwala, Musarrat Sheikh, Meraj Sultana, Syed Babar, Manzar Islam and Tasadduq Attari.

Picture shows Urdu lovers reciting Pirzada Qasim's poetry: Hatem Rani, Abdus Sattar Ghazali, Ismat Kamal, Kosar Syed. Lubna Manzar presented a maqala on the life and work of Pirzada Qasim which was taken from her father, Jazeb Qureshi's  Takhliqi Aawaaz book .
